Terms of Service

These terms govern your access to and use of Koksin. By creating an account or booking an appointment through koksin.com, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

What Koksin is

Koksin is a booking platform that connects customers with independent salons, studios, and home wellness partners across Cambodia. Partners are independent businesses — they set their own services, prices, schedules, and cancellation policies, and they deliver the services you book. Koksin is not the provider of the underlying services.

Accounts

  • You must be 18 or older to create an account.
  • You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account up to date.
  • You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. Keep your login credentials private.
  • We may suspend or close accounts that are used to abuse the platform, partners, or other customers.

Bookings

  • When you book an appointment, you enter into an agreement directly with the partner. Koksin facilitates the booking but is not party to the underlying service contract.
  • Each partner sets their own deposit, cancellation, and no-show policies. The applicable policy is shown on the booking page before you confirm.
  • You agree to show up on time for your appointments. Repeated no-shows may result in your account being restricted.

Payments and deposits

  • Some bookings require a deposit at the time of booking, paid via KHQR through ABA PayWay.
  • Deposits are held against the booking. They are refunded, applied to the service price, or forfeited according to the partner's cancellation policy and the outcome of the appointment.
  • Prices are shown in the partner's currency (typically USD or KHR) and include any taxes the partner is required to collect.
  • Refunds, when due, are processed back to the original payment method. Bank-side processing times apply.

Cancellations and no-shows

Cancellation rules are set by the partner you booked with. See our Cancellation Policy page for an explanation of how partner-set rules work and what to expect.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Make fake bookings, hold slots without intent to attend, or otherwise abuse the booking system.
  • Use the platform to harass partners, staff, or other customers.
  • Interfere with the platform's operation, attempt to access other accounts, or scrape data.
  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose.

Partner responsibilities

Partners are independent businesses responsible for their own licensing, hygiene, staff conduct, and the quality of services they deliver. Disputes about the underlying service should be raised with the partner first. We will help facilitate resolution where we reasonably can, but we are not the service provider.

Intellectual property

The Koksin name, logo, and platform are owned by Koksin and its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute our content without permission. You retain ownership of anything you submit (such as profile details), and grant us a limited licence to use it to operate the platform.

Disclaimers

The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the platform will always be available or error-free, or that the services delivered by partners will meet your expectations. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Koksin is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the platform or from services delivered by partners.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will post the updated terms here and update the date at the top. Continued use of the platform after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Cambodia. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought before the competent courts of Phnom Penh.
