Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 3 May 2026
Cancellation rules on Koksin are set by each partner, not by us. Salons, studios, and home wellness providers all run their businesses differently — some are happy with same-day cancellations, others need a day or two of notice to fill the slot. This page explains how to find the policy that applies to your booking and what to expect when you need to change or cancel one.
Where to find your booking's policy
The applicable cancellation policy is shown in three places, so you should never be surprised:
- On the booking page, before you confirm. You'll see the cancellation window and what happens to your deposit (if one is required) if you cancel late or don't show up.
- In the confirmation email and SMS we send after you book.
- On the appointment detail page in your account, alongside the cancel button.
How partner policies are structured
Every policy is made up of three settings:
- Cancellation window. How far ahead of your appointment you can cancel for free. For example, "up to 24 hours before" or "up to 2 hours before". A policy with a zero-hour window means you can cancel any time before the appointment starts.
- Late cancellation fee. What happens if you cancel inside the window. The two options partners can pick are: no fee, or your deposit is forfeited. If the booking didn't require a deposit, no fee applies regardless.
- No-show fee. What happens if you don't cancel and don't show up. Same two options: no fee, or your deposit is forfeited.
How to cancel
Open the appointment from your account and tap Cancel booking. The cancel screen will show you the current policy and whether any fee applies before you confirm. We'll send a cancellation notice to the partner straight away so they can free up the slot.
If you can't reach the appointment in your account, contact the partner directly — their phone number is on the confirmation we sent you.
Refunds
When a deposit is refundable under the partner's policy, the refund is processed back to the original payment method (KHQR via ABA PayWay). Bank-side processing times apply, typically 1–3 business days.
When a deposit is forfeited under the policy, it stays with the partner as compensation for the lost slot. We don't take a cut of forfeited deposits.
If a partner cancels
If a partner cancels your appointment — for example, because of a staff emergency or an unexpected closure — any deposit you paid is fully refunded. The partner may reach out to offer you a different time.
Disputes
If you believe a cancellation fee was applied incorrectly, contact the partner first. If you can't resolve it directly, email us at [email protected]with your booking reference and we'll help.
